Another thing that fascinated with me about Superman is that I remember finding the original superman super cute- yeah I was 6!
It must be more then the baby face. It must be what the expression says about his heart and actions.
I remember a lot of people my age swooning over Aragon in Lord of the Rings. He was ok, but in many ways he was tragic- just plainly not thrilled with this route in life- but Superman he is my kind of hero!
Our ideas of the original superman are a little different. I remember the one that was on tv back in the late 50's early 60's.

ReplyDeleteSuper Man = Super Ego. What if someone didn't want to be saved? Does he ever ask? He just uses his brute strength and plows over everything.
