Well, the puppy has taken to leash like a lab to a ball. He walks beautifully, after a very cat-on-leash like start. He has learned who has to treats and that to get treats he has to sit down first. He has learned to bark when excited. And that included at me today as I came down the stairs. So I got down on my all fours and wiggled my butt in the air, in the puppy way of saying "I am ready to play." Then I rolled him over and he got a good belly rub.
The sourdough starter is causing me to bake every day. I turned the older, dense rye, sliced it thinly, then toasted it. I am hoping to make rye crisp-type things. Today's bread is half eaten already, and the discard turned into nice little crispy breadsticks with garlic and herbs. Good, easy, and sure to be eaten recipe, I will be doing that again.
I have sprouts in my seedlings.
