stardust that formed the earth
elements recycled many times
into me they formed
flesh, bacteria, a colony of one
yet in and through everything in ages past
part of everything now
I breathe plant exhaust
they breathe mine
elemental as I am,
flesh
and bone
and blood
My spirit soars
for it of the skies
boundless and eternal
