boys enjoying thier ride

time to test it

Grampa wanted to test it with the black plastic on it, before he poked holes in it. Blow Out! and fixing the blow out.

Success! the boys are riding on it and we are kicking them around the room on it.

Now it is time to fit the hose to the hole and we see the use of our inventor's secret weapon. And then the attachment of the black plastic.

floating on air- getting closer

Here we Clay on the finished platform. And we had to distract the kiddlets- so we gave them the tools to screw around. Some of them screwed up the styroform completely. And then I also thought this was a good one to throw this pic of Clay in his snowsuit in.

Now it is time to build the platform. They are screwing the 2 by4s to the plywood, then searching for the right tool to put a hole in the center and then they will try to attach the vacuum hose.

Floating on air for your Birthday

The Mythbusters made hovercrafts last month. They always warn us not to try what they do at home- but this was too good of an opportunity to turn down. So for Galen's birthday we made a hovercraft- sure beats normal party games!

Grandpa started by cutting the wood to build the platform. And then moved us all the the cob building for the actual construction (see Ian carrying the wood) and made the boys vacuum all the dirt so the hovercraft wouldn't blow it all around.

The Primary navitivity

In primary last week they acted out the Nativity. Here are some pics.

Ian's 4th birthday

Yep my baby is 4. Here are some pics from the small family party.

He likes to read a billy sook by Sel Shilverstein entitled “A Runny Babbit.”

It is a story about a Runny Babbit who is just slain pilly. Instead of cutting his hair he huts his cair. And instead of asking for hugs and kisses, he asks for kugs and hisses.

Anyways my bittle laby saughs and lings and haps his clands. He sinks it thounds so silly.

So I just thought I’d yare with shou about this billy sook. And for the fear nuture my little bumpkin putt will be listening to wackward bords.

In the vame sane, if you can mandle hore, here is the list of Gristmas Chifts.

Galen got Dommy and Maddy some chark darcolate in a bittle lox.
He made a schalander at cool.
Ewan got a tand held horrando.
Ian got Thomas the Sain tret.
Clay received a ringing, iding sairplane.
Our dack blogs got a falk in the worest.

Mommy saw the bost meautiful Tristmas Chree. It was frovered in cost and slittering in the gun.

Now as the yew near is about to dawn we need to plexchange the aces of our riving looms and offices and glean the carage to cark our pars.

Think I can get Hike to melp me dotay? Or is he boo tusy with his gideo vames?

I hate Christmas

no, let me reclassify that "I hate Christmas with autistic kiddos."

What does that mean? It means the overwhelming hyperness of the autistic kiddo at Christmas time nearly makes it impossible to do anything Christmassy. And everything we do try to do is instantly destroyed by the little ones.

It also means that the children behaved so badly during sacrament meeting today that we told them they were not getting any presents until they show us they can behave.

Now this year combine a business that didn't slow down the week before Christmas, but sped up with new plans for a future, some big gifts that were kinda unexpected that took days out of the schedule to deal with and just plain unChristmas like weather. Of course we are also still not moved in, (still have our boxes full of family photos, books and the like), and a new special diet for a kid in vain attempts to stop constant diarrhea.

Yep this is a pity party for 1. Where is my Grinch suit?

Ramblings from the week

In case you hadn't noticed people suddenly started buying for Christmas last week. I am not sure that they are still buying. This is a strange year for Christmas sales, and even some desires to decorate.

Is it a national thing? Walmart thinks so. The real question is why? What drives Christmas buying or not buying?

Could it be that gas prices jumped $.29 this week? That surprised me at the pump today, but it isn't changing my mind on what kind of car to purchase next. That is because I already believe gas prices should really be around $11 per gallon. That is what it costs society for every gallon. That includes pollution damage and funding wars to keep gas cheep.

Round Belly is looking like it may have space for a manufacturing plant soon. We could be organic certified by the end of 2007. It is exciting. We get to try out manufacturing before building our own building so we can better know what it is that we need. That also means we are hiring. I have found a few people for production and am still looking for embroidery tech, and will also be looking for some people to help in production management.

I seem to prefer to hire people who have skills and practice in working. I will have to be learning soon how to teach the steps and practices we will use in production. I also have a lot of organizations to build. From shipping procedures to charts of sizes and exact specifications on each item.

Ok, enough business talk. Most of you don't read my blog for business. So you want to know about the babies. Well let's start at the top.

My biggest baby: ie hubby taught Elder's Quorum on Sunday. It is good for him to have a calling and somebody besides me pushing him to do something. We have made plans to rearrange our house soon.

My noisiest baby: ie Galen got some candy this week and has been really acting like it. He has been speaking too loud and not noticing temperature (like going outside with no coat) and having a harder time paying attention in school. But I did force feed him grapefruit juice today and he did complete all his homework and went to sleep with no fuss.

Ewan: is the one who brought the contraband candy into the house. He is the only kid who doesn't react to it. I am going to have to teach him how not to share candy. He is still doing well at school and looks forward to being a cow in the Nativity pageant at church on Sunday.

Ian is learning all about eating gluten free foods, however he still eats anything he can find when he is hungry. You can really tell by his belly how much gluten he has eaten in the last day. Some days we do good an others we don't. His favorite restaurant food is hamburger with out a bun.

Clay is just the cutest kid on the planet. He loves to play fetch with our balls. And will walk to get the ball, bring to back to Daddy, throw the ball and then walk to get it again. He thinks it is real fun. We figure our dogs never played catch so we finally got a baby that will.

Rosie has finally out grown Sam, and is now the larger of the 2 dogs. They are learning what it means when we say "OUT!" 2 dogs are just too many to have in 1 house.

Christmas is around the corner but the only sign in our house is the tree that has been up since the new Christmas line came in (for photos). The tree has been decorated and undecorated numberless time, and it is really starting to look bad. I think my mom might have the right idea by just taking down and giving it away.

Mike and I are hoping to move our offices into the living room, move the LR into my office and move the food storage from the garage to the loft. Then we will soon move RB belly out of the small building and then move the exercise equipment in. I think there will be enough space for kids to ride trikes around there in Jan.

Have a wonderful day!

Centered with Clay

Clay loves to climb and one of his favorite things to do lately is to climb upon the kitchen table and see what he can get into trouble with. I think it would classify as "playing with your food". Ian did this at his age, so it is not a big surprise for his brother to follow suit. Last week Clay climbed on the table after a stirfry and sat in the wok.

Well having a baby whos woking now is only one of the many puns we came up with. Today we have pictures- but none of woked baby.
How many generation Xers does it take to change a lightbulb?

3-
1 to call daddy and ask how it's done.
1 to scratch his head and say "I didn't know florescent lights could burn out."
1 to not even notice because it doesn't effect his video game.

33 days

No aunt flo, no positive pregnancy test. I am planning to test on Monday, I will let you know what I find out. As we move into the weekend there is a higher chance that a sperm and egg met two weeks ago.
