So cold they canceled school. Yup it is only -20 below right now, which is nothing in and of itself. The last few weeks we saw no end of -20, and -30, but the difference is we got a wind. A cold bitter wind with gusts of up to 30mph. That means a sweet little wind chill of about -50, -60. And for those that are unaware, winds chills like that can freeze you skin in 30 seconds flat. It also cuts through your coat, through your windows and into your house.
So I am home with kids today.... battling business and children, but if I need a break from the noise, I can always go freeze my brains out.
Anyways.... time to go make some pancakes. Life is always better with pancakes.
