Whole wheat biscuits:
Mix:
2 cups whole wheat flour (I prefer fresh ground)
1 heaping Tb baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
then add:
3Tbs olive oil
3/4 cup water
Need for about 3 minutes, roll out and cut, bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
varriations:
breakfast biscuits:
add to dry mix:
2 TBs brown sugar
3 tsp cinnamon
then add to wet:
1 Tbs vanilla
1/2 cup rasions
Special Sunday Biscuits:
add to dry ingredents:
2 Tbs herbs ( parsley, rosemary, Thyme)
add to wet ingredents:
1/2 cup shredded cheese
